Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Data, Computation, and Information Systems (JDCIS) is committed to maintaining the scientific integrity and originality of all published articles.
1. Plagiarism Screening
-
All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software prior to the peer review process.
-
Manuscripts with a similarity index above the acceptable threshold (typically >20–25%) will be reviewed further by the Editor.
2. Actions Against Plagiarism
-
Clear plagiarism (copying text, figures, or data without proper attribution) will result in manuscript rejection.
-
If plagiarism is detected after publication, JDCIS reserves the right to:
-
Retract the article from official publication,
-
Issue a formal notice of plagiarism,
-
Notify the author’s institution for further action.
-
3. Author Responsibility
-
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and that all sources are properly cited.
-
Authors are fully responsible for any citation errors, duplication, or plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional.
4. Prevention
-
JDCIS encourages authors to use plagiarism detection software before submission.
-
Authors are expected to write in their own words and style, and cite all references accurately.
