4.1 Editorial Screening – Template and Scope Check

- Compliance with the JDCIS template
- Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope
- Basic language quality and scientific merit
- Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to authors or rejected at this stage.

- General requirements:
- Plagiarism score < 15%
- AI Writing score < 30% (according to the tools used by the journal)
4.3 Double-Blind Peer Review
- Manuscripts that pass screening are sent for double-blind peer review:
- Reviewers do not know the authors’ identities.
- Authors do not know the reviewers’ identities.
- Reviewers assess:
- Originality and contribution
- Soundness of methodology
- Clarity of presentation

- Significance of results and discussion
4.4 Author Revision
- Based on reviewer and editorial comments, authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts.
- Authors should:
- Respond to all comments clearly and systematically.

- Provide a response-to-reviewer document if requested, explaining how each comment was addressed.
4.5 Final Editorial Decision
- The editor makes the final decision, which may be:
- Accept
